The big problem I had with the "new" Necromunda models was how little customizing you could do without a lot of sculpting. Seeing this much for weapons gives me some hope. I like this kind of thing.

The big problem I had with the "new" Necromunda models was how little customizing you could do without a lot of sculpting. Seeing this much for weapons gives me some hope. I like this kind of thing. The newer Necromumda models were very good, and I'm not sure if the line essentially failed because of the models (which are multi-part with a lot of heads/hands), or if it was just because GW stopped supporting the game. For an in-experienced modeler, a ton of small parts can be intimidating... We're trying to find that middle ground, where it will be accessible to people who don't like (or aren't able to) model well, but also have flexibility for people who want to do a lot of customization and conversions. That said, expect weapon sprues later this summer... And my hope is that it allows people to "Wreck Age-ify" models that they might already have, so for the cost of a few sprues of weapons, you can have models that will fit right in with our more expensive ones...

looks good, but...I would like to see other 'addies' as well. Backpacks with various equipment attached would be great! or 'saddle' bags with post apoc equipment...could go on boars or other models.
I know you are just beginning, but I think 'gear' sprues would be great!

Though gun sprues will always come in handy, I concur about the backpacks or saddlebags.

Backpacks are in the works as well, along with some stuff that will actually be ready for launch that is along these lines, except bigger...
More on that in a few weeks.
Saddlebags, that's interesting? To put on what?
We're going to be working on some bicycles, and are assuming horses and boars are both used as pack animals... along with slave labor in less moral communities.
Tell me more about your thoughts on saddlebags?

How about a miniature fully packed like a mule? Well technically he would count as a slave or servant.... A bit in the lines of the squire for a knight. Okay...That had absolutely nothing to do with the main topic....

I'm going to need a mule model, a knight and a lance. He will battle a windmill... er a giant.

Well, we have boars and horus..s. Basically backpacks for animals. I mean, if we are making backpacks for people and they are cool, animal backpacks should be cool too (er...in terms of the 'bits' sticking out). Depending on the faction, different stuff 'packed'. warriors, surveyors, nomads, families....I mean, if you are going somewhere, and you have a big stinky boar, a horus or maybe even a dog (or...a cat; matt?), why would you carry all your junk?
So a stichman would have a pack with medical type stuff sticking out, a reclaimer some radar-ish stuff, a staker shovels and farm stuff...and so on and so forth.
know what else would be cool? little stuff like signs (street, old west..smaller types), newspaper dispensers, fire-hydrants....stuff that could go on a base or a give a little character to a piece of scenery.

A lot of companies already do these things.
Check out FENRIS GAMES on ebay to mention one.
