Just wondering about some convention schedules, since we're starting to get into the season.
I myself usually attend Motor City Comic Con and started going to Detroit Fanfare last year. Both in the Metro Detroit area. Is Wreck Age planning on hitting any in Chicago or Detroit (hint hint)? Anyone else want to share?

in April we are definitely doing Adepticon and maaaybe splitting a booth at C2E2 with my local comic store and I will be there. I don't know if Antonio has any plans out in TX that don't involve me . I would say 2013 will be a bigger convention year for us since we will have more products. Right now it is a big expenditure with little to show.

I'll be doing demos at Owlcon in Feb, and we're going to have some sort of presence at GenCon.
As Matt said, next year will have a greater focus on cons, since we'll have a lot more stuff to sell. It's a couple thousand dollars to set up at a mid-size con, so without stuff to sell to make that back, it doesn't make sense.

Understandable. I just wanted a reason to go to Chicago Comic Con too (other than Davy Jones).

Ha ha I read 'Duncan Jones' and thought that was cool. The Monkees aren't that cool. I prefer c2e2 over Wizard World, btw. Its more about comics and stuff like that.

False. The Monkees are super cool. Also I'm already WAAAY to into comics as is. I need other fun stuff to distract me so I don't spend another 3 months pay on them.

What do you read regularly? I only have a few subscriptions at the local place.

Right now I have one manga series I read (Gantz) and a lot of comics. Green Arrow is probably my favorite current comic. I have mostly New 52 DC comics on my pull list. TMNT, Ghostbusters and a few others are on there too.

My subscriptions are-
Hellblazer- Been subscribing to this one for quite some time, it has its ups and downs. Been pretty decent lately. Pigs- I like Cold War stuff, and this Cuban espinoage family story is interesting so far. Walking Dead- You know this one. Been subscribing for years, almost since the beginning. Anything by Garth Ennis except the Boys. Too many dick jokes. Punisher- Ever since the Max series started and revitalized my vigilante fever. Chew- Love this food based detective series. It is pretty excellent.
I was reading Crossed for a bit, but it became 'a bit much'

So if you guys are going to be at adepticon, will you need help selling stuff? I have never gone, even though I live here in town, mainly because I don't like moving around in crowds. But I could sit in one place and sell stuff pretty easily, and it would be cool to see some of the cool armies (GMM!) in person.
Let me know, and I will talk to the boss about getting some time off (wife).

www.atlas-comics.com/ has some great stuff. The only problem is Tony Isabella is the only one that was getting his work out on time and his series is over (Grim Ghost- 6 issues). So they have two 6 issue series stuck at issue #4 and their new series Atlas Unified has issues 0 and 1 out, but 1 isn't on their website (but did get released by Diamond).

It's free to walk in and do pick up games, so you should at least do that! I also hear hotels have bars....

The last thing that we need is Matt meeting up with Nogel and getting too drunk to run demos, and walking into random seminars and disrupting them again.

If that's 'the last thing we need' than I will make sure to take it easy the first few days.
