National Geographic is doing a complete series off of this premise- 'A team of experts inspect Doomsday Fanatics' shelters, and decide whether or not they'll outlive us all, or if they're just wasted a lot of cash.' Here is a one off they did for it... I like the 2012 theories www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaxjfQheNesThoughts?

I like the name Prepper.
I think it's great that people do this. Prepping can be a another word for a strong sense of self-reliance, A social trait severely waning in America today. If they outlive us all is irrelevant. Only the fates decide that. They lived their lives sharing and passing on a tradition of self-reliance, ingenuity and common sense. a seldom discussed topic of modern society, unless you're a trustfunder who wants to righteously work on an organic farm for a few months. (which I did) and then travel Europe(which I didn't) Isn't the 'Apocalypse' just a chance to do all that cool shit your lame job won't let you and your uptight neighbors frown upon?

Anyone else watching this?
I like the lady who is dipping hard cheese in wax so she can still be fat after the collapse. She is ready to gun down any non lactose intolerant looters with a gun every 20 feet or so.
Good show, it reminds me of a long running Taboo episode. Anyone see that show? Great stuff.
