That looks very promising. Hopefully you'll be able to create a style of your own that appeals to many.

The green looks amacing. I like the style of it.
Do you already have pictures of the finished model or of some more WIPs? Will you cast your miniatures in resin or metal?

We'll be casting it in metal. It's currently stuck in customs, and is holding up a bunch more models, since we want to triple check the scale and then get all our sculptors copies to use for reference. We will have a lot more stuff to look at by the end of the year.

Picked it up from the post office today, and it will be going to the caster in just a few minutes. We can't wait to have it in our hands... and get some good paint jobs on it.

Just got the masters today! I'm mailing them out to various sculptors to get them a scale reference, and you'll be seeing quite a bit of new stuff by year's end. Currently, I'm tackling the history of our world, so that some other writers can help develop content and have a good framework to go on, and from there, it's going to be equipment descriptions and THEN rules changes/development... Matt's working on a bunch of writing, and co-ordinating with the other authors to get stuff moving along at a very fast pace. Lots has been going on behind the scenes... Send me your address via email, we'll be getting you something in the mail shortly.

I can not wait to get mine! I love the addition of a firearm in the shield, really great touch. I'm glad you're excited about it. We are too! The way the pistol is holstered is going to be one of our little trade-marks, we have 2 Stakers being worked on right now that are carrying pistols on a staff or shovel. Drifters will get more love towards the end of the year... and we're hoping to have at least 14 minis by the spring. Enough to get everyone started, with more on the way after that.

The modell looks great. Do you have some new scale shots with other miniatures? The first one with the green compared this drifter to rather bulky heroic scale miniatures. I wonder how the scale looks compared to more "realistic"/less heroic models.

Do you take payments in giant aluminum birds I cast myself? Also you totally stole those spikey leg guards off that guy to the right. Eldar something or other? I don't know. Fudge Warhammer.

Fudge Warhammer. if the birds were cast in silver or gold, then we could talk... What do you cast them for? Once we have a projects log board up, you should put them up. And we had the art for our Drifter before the Dark Eldar line was released... I actually think the quality of the new Dark Eldar stuff is fantastic, that said, I prefer to support smaller companies whenever I can. I think I have about 15 painted forces for various games at this point, and that's after cutting my collection in about 1/4 to help fund Wreck Age.

I had a class in metal casting. I made the molds, poured the aluminum, cleaned, polished and everything. Also have a brass hammer head that I made. I do a lot of random stuff. I am learning to sew next. Then teaching myself to hand craft furniture. Who knows what else.
